The original staircase was covered in worn builder-grade carpet (see before photo). Luma Build Design carefully removed the old carpet and replaced it with real hardwood oak stair treads and runners.

Matching the Home’s Existing Style

To ensure the new stairs blended perfectly with the home’s existing hardwood flooring and railings, we used Minwax Jacobean stain for a deep, rich tone, followed by a Minwax clear coat finish for durability and shine.
